Lanarkshire Mountain Bike Club

PROBABLY THE BEST MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB IN . . . WELL LANARKSHIRE

Started at the Boathouse, Strathclyde Park and headed off up towards Chatelherault following the eastern path towards Larkhall cutting through the “Fermers Field” at High Merryton . A quick sprint through Larky, then down the track past Skellyton Farm to the Clyde Valley and a River Crossing over the Green Pipe bridge. From there it was time to explore the trails through the woods at Gowkthrapple  with Alan D guiding. Did a few slippy / muddy decents and headed out towards the Northshore near Garrion Bridge built by some of the local riders there. Met Chris and Craig the guys responsible for the trails in the area and the Northshore who took us up to another hidden trail—thanks guys !! From there it was back along the Clyde Walkway through to Strathclyde Park.
